Ricki Barlow is a former member of the Las Vegas City Council in Nevada, representing Ward 5. He was first elected to the council in 2007. He resigned on January 22, 2018, after pleading guilty to a federal felony for fraudulently using funds from his 2015 re-election campaign for his own personal use.[1][2]
Elections
2015
The city of Las Vegas, Nevada, was initially scheduled to hold elections for mayor and city council on June 2, 2015. A primary election took place on April 7, 2015.[3] Because one candidate received more than 50 percent of the vote in the primary election, the general election was called off. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was February 6, 2015.[4] Three of the six city council seats were up for election.
In the primary election for Ward 5, incumbent Ricki Y. Barlow defeated Randy Voyard.[5][6]
