Linda F. McCallum is a former judge for the Fourth Circuit Court in Florida. She served on the court from 2002 to 2020.

McCallum was appointed to a newly-created position by Gov. Jeb Bush in 2001. She took office on January 2, 2002 and was automatically re-elected to six-year terms in 2010 and 2016. McCallum retired in March 2020.[1]

McCallum was born on November 3, 1962 in Tehran, Iran. She received her B.S. degree in International Affairs from Florida State University in 1983. She then received her law degree from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1986.[2][3]

After working as a law clerk from 1984 through 1985, McCallum began her career in 1986 as an assistant state attorney. She was then appointed to the Duval County Court in 1994. She served there until early 2002, when she was appointed to the circuit court. She has also served as an Administrative Judge for the 4th Circuit.[4][2][3]

Florida's 20 circuit courts all had seats up for election in 2016. Of the 151 seats up for election, 125 saw only one candidate file for the election. The unopposed races were canceled and the sole candidates were automatically elected. Of the 26 opposed races, only 10 saw more than two candidates file. [5]
