- Working for the people in the rural area of Fayette county
- Unbiased with regard to who would be capable of filling positions possibly needing to be appointed by the Fayette county judge executive
- Running for the love of this community.
I think this position has the ability to help people on a number of levels. One item in particular is making sure the available funds are known to students (and to school counselors) about a scholarship started in the early 1900’s for Fayette County students. It needs to be utilized by students or it can possibly be altered to use the funds to educate ALL Fayette county students about the history of our county through a program the Lexington History Museum would like to undertake instead.
