John Cowan (Republican Party) is running for election to the U.S. House to represent Georgia's 11th Congressional District. He declared candidacy for the Republican primary scheduled on May 19, 2026.[source]

Biography

Cowan graduated from Davidson College with a B.S. in physics. He received an M.D. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed a residency in neurosurgery at the University of Michigan Medical School. As of his 2020 campaign, Cowan was a neurosurgeon and founder of Cortex Toys and Cortex Holdings.[1][2]
