John Carmichael (Democratic Party) is a member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing District 92. He assumed office on October 16, 2013. His current term ends on January 11, 2027.

Carmichael (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Kansas House of Representatives to represent District 92. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.

Biography

John Carmichael, as of February 2020, lives in Wichita, Kansas. He earned degrees from Wichita State University and the University of Kansas. Carmichael’s career experience includes working as an attorney and as an adjunct faculty member with Wichita State University. He was appointed to the Governor’s Committee on Kansas Libraries by Governor Joan Finney and has been a Chair of the Kansas Human Rights Commission and a Chair of the Kansas Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training.[1]
