An effort in Arnegard, North Dakota, to recall Mayor Virginia Elliot was initiated in 2018. Petitioners submitted enough signatures to put the recall on the ballot on March 11, 2019.[1] The recall effort failed, and Elliot retained her office.[2]

Recall vote

The recall election was held on March 11, 2019. Virginia Elliot defeated former Mayor Jeffrey Kindel.[2]
