Timothy E. McMenamin was a 2016 Republican candidate for District 41 of the Oregon House of Representatives.[1]

McMenamin was a candidate for Position 3 representative on the North Clackamas Board of Directors in Oregon. He lost in the general election on May 19, 2015.

McMenamin was a Republican candidate for District 41 of the Oregon House of Representatives in 2012 and 2014.

McMenamin earned a B.S. in pharmacy and a B.S. in microbiology from Oregon State University in 1987 and 1989, respectively. His professional experience includes working as a pharmacist.[2] He graduated from Milwaukie High School in 1976.[3]

Opposition

Four of the seven seats on the North Clackamas Board of Directors were up for general election on May 19, 2015. At-large incumbents Kyle Walker, Trisha Claxton, Rein Vaga and Sam Gillispie were up for election. Walker and Gillispie did not file to run for re-election.

Vaga won re-election to the Position 1 seat unopposed. Position 3 incumbent Claxton defeated challenger Timothy McMenamin. The two open seats saw just one candidate file for each. Lee Merrick and Steven Schroedl won election to the open Positions 2 and 7, respectively, in unopposed races.

Elections for the Oregon House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 11, 2014. Kathleen Taylor defeated Deborah Barnes, Ted Roe and Kaliko Castille in the Democratic primary. Timothy McMenamin was unopposed in the Republican primary. McMenamin ran on the Libertarian ticket and Taylor ran on the Working Families Party ticket. Taylor defeated McMenamin in the general election.[9][10][11]
