Hernandez ran in the 2012 election for Maine State Senate District 25. Hernandez ran and lost against Colleen Lachowicz in the Democratic primary on June 12, 2012.[1] Incumbent Thomas Martin, Jr. (R) is running unopposed in the Republican primary. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[2]
