Amy Ronayne Krause was a judge of the Michigan 4th District Court of Appeals. She assumed office in 2010. She left office on December 13, 2022.

Krause ran for re-election for judge of the Michigan 4th District Court of Appeals. She won in the general election on November 3, 2020.

Education

Krause received her B.A. from the University of Michigan and her J.D. from the University of Notre Dame.[1]

Career

Krause began her legal career in private practice, and then served for eight years as an assistant prosecuting attorney. In 1997, she was appointed an assistant attorney general, a job she held for six years. Prior to her term on the Michigan Court of Appeals, she served as a judge for the Michigan 54A Judicial District Court for almost eight years. In 2013, Krause was appointed to a two-year term on the Michigan Court of Claims. She is an adjunct professor at Thomas M. Cooley Law School.[2]
