Robert E. Beach, Jr. was a judge on the Connecticut Appellate Court. He was appointed to this position December 10, 2007 and took office February 20, 2008.[1] He was renominated in 2016.[2][3] Beach retired, assuming senior status, in 2017.[4]

Beach was appointed to the Connecticut Superior Court by Governor John Rowland in 1996.[1]

Education

Beach earned a B.A. from Yale University, and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.[1]

Career

Beach worked as a prosecutor from 1973 to 1981, then worked as a trial attorney for 15 years. He was appointed to the Superior Court in 1996. Before his appointment to the Court of Appeals, Beach served as an administrative judge in the Hartford Judicial District and later as a Middlesex Judicial District Court judge.[1]
