Ben Hall McFarlin, Jr. is a judge for the Rutherford County General Sessions Court in Rutherford County, Tennessee. He was elected to the court in 1998 and re-elected in 2006 and 2014. His current eight-year term expires in 2022. McFarlin is based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.[1][2][3][4]

McFarlin ran for re-election to the Rutherford County General Sessions Court.
General: He defeated Kevin Hodges in the general election on August 7, 2014, receiving 60.1 percent of the vote. [5][4]

Education

McFarlin received his undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University and his J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville College of Law.[2]

Career

Before he became a judge, McFarlin worked as an attorney in private practice for twenty-five years in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.[2]
