Daniel R. Degnan (Democratic Party) is a judge for the 3rd Subcircuit of the Cook County Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois. His current term ends on December 2, 2030.

Degnan ran for re-election for the 3rd Subcircuit judge of the Cook County Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois. He won in the retention election on November 5, 2024.

Biography

Daniel Degnan received his B.A. degree from St. Mary's University of Minnesota and his J.D. degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. He was admitted to the Bar in 1995.[1] Degnan has worked as a private practice attorney and as Chief Deputy and CFO of the Cook County Treasurer's Office. He worked as the Executive Director of the Cook County Employees’ Annuity & Benefit Fund from 2007 until his judicial election in 2012.[2]
