John Hall "Jack" Howard, Jr. was a 2014 judicial candidate for the Eighth Judicial District Court in Nevada.[1]

Howard, Jr. ran for election to the Eighth Judicial District Court.
Primary: He was successful in the primary on June 10, 2014, receiving 24.2 percent of the vote. He competed against Marsha Kimble-Simms, Rebecca Burton, Lynn Hughes and Michele Mercer.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 34.6 percent of the vote. He competed against Rebecca Burton. [1][2]

Howard ran for the newly-created Department 28 judgeship on the 8th District Court. He won 28.73% of the vote in the primary, but was defeated by Ron Israel in the general election.[3][4]

Education

Howard earned his undergraduate degree from Occidental College in Los Angeles. He received his J.D. from the California Western School of Law in 1974.[5]
