Amanda Kaster (formerly Amanda Kaster-Averill) is the Montana Director of Natural Resources and Conservation. She assumed office on January 4, 2021.

She was appointed to the position by Gov. Greg Gianforte (R) and assumed office on January 4, 2021.[1]

Biography

Amanda Kaster earned a B.A. from Wilkes University in 2011.[2] Kaster's career experience includes working as the acting deputy assistant secretary for land and minerals management in the U.S. Department of the Interior,[3] the acting chief of staff at the Bureau of Land Management, and as an advisor to former U.S. Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke.[4]
