David Groeschl
David Groeschl was the acting Idaho director of lands. He was appointed by the state Board of Land Commissioners on January 16, 2018.[1] He served until August 2018, when the state Board of Land appointed Dustin Miller.[2]
Biography
Prior to his appointment as acting director, Groeschl held several other positions at the Idaho Department of Lands, including deputy director (2016-2018), state forester (2011-2016), and forestry and fire division administrator (2008-2011). Groeschl served as the forest management bureau chief for the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation. He also worked in the private, industrial, and public sectors during his career.[3]

Groeschl was appointed state lands director by the Idaho Board of Land Commissioners on January 16, 2018, replacing outgoing director Tom Schultz. Groeschl served until August 2018, when the state Board of Land appointed Dustin Miller.[1][2]
