William Smith (California school board member)
William "Will" Smith was an at-large member of the Santa Maria-Bonita Elementary Board of Education in California. He ran for re-election in the general election on November 4, 2014. William Smith (California school board member) lost the general election on November 4, 2014. Smith was first elected to the board in 2010.
An effort to recall Smith from office was launched in May 2012 but fell short in October 2012.

Two at-large incumbents, Fidenzio "Bruno" Brunello and William "Will" Smith, were up for re-election. Brunello and newcomer Ricky Lara defeated Smith and Janeen Miller to win the two available seats.
