Campaign website
Garcia's campaign website stated the following:
Lower Costs. Higher Wages.
Working families are being crushed by rising rent, food, and utilities while corporations rake in record profits. Patty is fighting to lower everyday costs and make the wealthy finally pay their fair share — so working people can breathe again.
Defend Immigrant Families. No Exceptions.
Immigration enforcement is being used to terrorize working-class communities. Patty has confronted abusive tactics head-on and will fight for dignity, due process, and to abolish ICE so families can live without fear.
Union Jobs, Not Corporate Giveaways
Infrastructure should create good, local union jobs — not line corporate pockets. Patty has helped bring real federal dollars home to rebuild roads, transit, and water systems while putting working people to work.
Healthcare Is a Right
No one should go bankrupt because they got sick. Patty supports Medicare for All to expand healthcare access, lower prescription drug prices, and end medical debt for working families.
Fully Fund Public Schools
Public education should be funded, protected, and accountable to families — not privatized for profit. Patty stands with students, educators, and parents fighting for strong neighborhood schools.
Real Democracy, Real Accountability
Our democracy shouldn’t be bought by billionaires and special interests. Patty believes in strong ethics laws, fair elections, and a government that answers to working people — period.
Peace, Not Endless War
Patty opposes endless wars, military occupation, and U.S. policies that fuel violence abroad while draining resources from working families at home. She believes in diplomacy over bombs, international cooperation over domination, and a foreign policy rooted in human rights — not corporate or military interests.
