William G. Hussman, Jr. was a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. He was first appointed to this position in 1988 and he retired in 2016.[1][2]

Education

Judge Hussman received his B.A. degree in 1972 and his J.D. in 1975 from Valparaiso University.[1]

Career

Judge Hussman began his legal career in 1976 as private practice lawyer in Wilmington, North Carolina. In 1981, he became a deputy attorney general. He worked in this position for two years. He then worked for Associated Insurance Co. and as a staff attorney for the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission until his 1988 judicial appointment.[1]
