- Continued Economic Development - West Virginia is in a unique position when it comes to economic development. We are positioned between old industries and new industries. We must continue to bring in high-quality, high-tech, high-paying jobs while lifting our trained workforce. We must encourage new small businesses while fostering ones that are providing great services to our district and state. West Virginia also must take advantage of the beautiful wilderness that our state possesses in the form of tourism.
- Improved public utilities and public service - We need to continue to support and grow our public services, including Fire, Police, and EMS. As West Virginia’s population grows older, there will be an increased demand on our public services. To keep up with the demand on public services, there needs to be adequate funding for training and equipment for first responders. We need new and improved water, sewer, and internet providers to maintain a competitive, healthy, and educated workforce into the future.
- Continual protection and use of our natural resources and farmland - A clean environment that includes clean air, streams, and soil is necessary for future generations of West Virginians to enjoy our state. As farming is a necessity, there needs to be continued support of farmers where and when they need it. Due to the large financial expense of farming and the possibility of unstable economies, it is extremely easy for farms to be shut down, which can harm West Virginia's economy and security.
Public Utilities: Sewer, Water, Internet.
Economic development: Industry, Small Business, Tourism.
Natural resource and environmental protection: A clean and safe environment - Healthy and productive wildlands and wildlife.
