Charles M. Coles, Jr. was a 2014 candidate for the Orphans Court of Carroll County in Carroll County, Maryland.[1] He previously ran for a seat on the Orphans Court of Howard County, Maryland in the 2010 general election.[2]

Coles ran for election to the Orphans Court of Carroll County.
Primary: He was defeated in the Republican primary on June 24, 2014, receiving 10.9 percent of the vote. He competed against John D. Carbaugh, Samuel V. Greenholtz, and incumbent Judges Dorothy V. Utz and Cathy Reese. Primary candidates competed for 3 seats.

Coles ran for election to the Orphans Court of Howard County. He was defeated by Leslie Smith Turner, Anne Dodd and incumbent Sherae McNeal in the general election on November 2, 2010.[2]
