Elias Camacho
Elias Camacho was a candidate for District 3 representative on the El Paso City Council in Texas. He was defeated in the general election on May 6, 2017.
Biography
Camacho earned an associate degree in criminal justice from El Paso Community College.[1]
At the time of his 2017 run for office, Camacho was retired from his position as a detective with the El Paso Police Department. His professional experience also includes service in the U.S. Navy and work as a substitute teacher, private investigator, and author.[1][2]

Cassandra Hernandez-Brown and Jaime Barceleau defeated Casey Williams, Elias Camacho, and Louis Pellicano in the general election for the District 3 seat on the El Paso City Council.[3]
