David McCrea (Democratic Party) was a member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 148. He assumed office in 2016. He left office on December 6, 2022.

McCrea (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Maine House of Representatives to represent District 3. He lost in the general election on November 5, 2024.

Biography

David McCrea was born in Fort Fairfield, Maine. He graduated from Fort Fairfield High School in 1964. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Maine at Presque Isle in 1968 and a master's degree from the University of Maine at Orono in 1981. McRea's career experience includes working as a teacher. He has been a member of the Maine Education Association, the National Education Association, and the Fort Fairfield Teacher’s Association. McRea was elected to serve as the Fort Fairfield Town Councilor.[1]
