Michelle Ogburn was a member of the Henrico County Public Schools in Virginia, representing Three Chopt District. She assumed office in 2014. She left office on January 1, 2024.

Ogburn ran for re-election to the Henrico County Public Schools to represent Three Chopt District in Virginia. She won in the general election on November 5, 2019.

First elected to the seat in a special election on November 4, 2014, Obgurn won her first full term in the general election on November 3, 2015.[1]

Ogburn was targeted for recall in 2016 due to “neglect of duty” and “misuse of office” in regards to the school board's decision to sell land from the Three Chopt Elementary School for a cancer treatment center. Residents in the area around the school were opposed to the sale and said Ogburn did not represent their opinions. The effort was ultimately abandoned.
