Constable's Offices are tasked with serving misdemeanor warrants. A high percentage of these warrants are for low level criminal offences such as traffic violations and failure to appear in court. Statistics show that around 80% of criminal cases are misdemeanor charges. If elected Constable I will work with the court system to reduce the incarceration of low level offenders. No one should have to go to jail simply because they can not afford to pay a fine.

The criminal justice system seldom gives the necessary attention environmental law violators. Crimes such as illegal dumping and unlawful burning may not seem like the most heinous offences, however these violations can greatly affect the quality of life in our community. As Constable, I will aggressively pursue the perpetrators of environmental crimes. I will collaborate with other law enforcement agencies as well as the County and District Attorneys to hold violators of environmental crimes accountable.
