|- We have to invest in people. We have to invest in our lives. Into Saving Lives. We need investments and we need access. We have to invest in education and opportunity.
- We have to focus on community investment & economic development while making sure these development plans won’t have us packing our homes for the edge of the city limit or outside of the city. Jobs that will pay not just sustaining but thriving wages in working conditions that are respectful, equitable and safe. Living in homes that are accessible, affordable and safe.
- There are a number of factors that are making us feel unsafe right now. Our safety is now being threatened by climate change. We have to get serious about Environmental Safety and Environmental Justice. We, here in the Commonwealth need to do more to keep our waters pure, air clean, and soil safe.
Public Safety, the explosion of gun violence is impacting us all. I want to fight to retain the current gun laws as well as fight to enact Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO) legislation. Increase efforts to make firearm safety more accessible and comfortable for all people. We also have to begin to look at how law enforcement interacts with our community in all facets but chiefly during traffic stops and service calls.
Education Equity, we have to begin to encourage discussion and collaboration between all education stakeholders, putting students first. There has to be an increase in resources and funding for special education. I am a huge proponent of out-of-school time. I grew up in an enriching afterschool program, seeing how it impact me and my peers. I then managed an afterschool program, seeing how it impacted young people. Providing them a safe space, a hot meal & a place to learn and grow academically and emotionally.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
