Shannon N. Walker (Michigan)
Shannon N. Walker is a judge of the Michigan 3rd Circuit Court. Her current term ends on January 1, 2027.
Walker ran for re-election for judge of the Michigan 3rd Circuit Court. She won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Walker was elected to the court on November 4, 2014, for a six-term, commencing on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2020.[1]
Biography
Education
Walker received her undergraduate degree from Wilberforce University in 1994 and her J.D. degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2002.[2]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Walker served as an assistant prosecuting attorney for the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office. She also previously served as a public defender with the Legal Aid & Defenders Association, Inc.[2]
