Amy B. Tisinger
Amy B. Tisinger is a district court judge for the 26th Judicial District in Virginia.[1] She was elected to the court by the Virginia General Assembly for a six-year term, which commenced on July 1, 2009.[2] She was re-elected in 2015 to a term that expires in 2021.[3]
Education
Tisinger received both her undergraduate degree and her J.D. from the University of Virginia.[4]
Career
Tisinger served as an assistant commonwealth attorney for the Shenandoah County Commonwealth's Attorney's Office from 1999 until she joined the court in 2009.[5]
