Archimedes Faulkner
Archimedes Faulkner was a member of the Mesquite Independent School District school board in Texas, representing Place 1. Faulkner assumed office in 2010. Faulkner left office in 2021.
Faulkner won re-election to the Mesquite Independent School District school board to represent Place 1 in Texas outright after the general election on May 4, 2019, was canceled.
Faulkner passed away on July 29, 2021.[1]

General election
The general election was canceled. Archimedes Faulkner (Nonpartisan) won without appearing on the ballot.
2016
Two of the seven seats on the Mesquite Independent School District Board of Trustees were up for by district general election on May 7, 2016. Place 1 incumbent Archimedes Faulkner was the sole candidate to file for re-election to the seat. Place 2 incumbent Cary Tanamachi opted not to seek re-election, allowing newcomer Eddie Rose to run unopposed for the seat. The district canceled the election due to a lack of opposition.[2]
