Bentley H. Patrick (Republican Party) was a judge of the Jefferson County District Court Place 7 in Alabama. He assumed office on April 29, 2019. He left office on January 18, 2021.

Patrick (Republican Party) ran for re-election for judge of the Jefferson County District Court Place 7 in Alabama. He lost in the general election on November 3, 2020.

He was appointed to the court by Gov. Kay Ivey (R) on April 29, 2019.[1]

Patrick also served on the Alabama 10th Judicial Circuit Court.

Patrick ran for election to a full six-year term but lost in the general election on November 8, 2016.

Tamara Harris Johnson defeated incumbent Bentley H. Patrick in the general election for the Alabama 10th Judicial Circuit Place 22 seat.[2]

Education

Patrick received his undergraduate degree from Birmingham-Southern College in 1989 and his J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1995.[3]

Career

Patrick worked as a civil litigation attorney in North and Central Alabama for 18 years, specializing in insurance defense and as a trial attorney for the Cincinnati Insurance Company.[4]
