Chuck Ellinger II is an at-large member of the Lexington City Council in Kentucky. He assumed office in 2019. His current term ends on January 4, 2027.
Ellinger ran for re-election for an at-large seat of the Lexington City Council in Kentucky. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Ellinger was previously an at-large member of the Lexington, Kentucky City Council from 2003 to 2014.[1] In 2014, Ellinger was a candidate for District 3 of the Lexington City Council. He lost to J. "Jake" Gibbs.
Biography
Chuck Ellinger was born and lives in Lexington, Kentucky. He graduated from Lexington Catholic High School in 1983. He earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Rollins College in 1987 and a J.D. from the University of Kentucky in 1990. Ellinger’s career experience includes working as the owner of Rogers Restaurant and as an attorney.[1]

2014
The city of Lexington, Kentucky held elections for city council on November 4, 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. At-Large incumbent Chuck Ellinger, II and J. "Jake" Gibbs defeated Rock Daniels in the District 3 primary. Gibbs defeated Ellinger in the general election.[2] District 3 incumbent Diane Lawless did not run for re-election.[3][4]
