Connie Skates was a 2012 Democratic candidate for the District 28 of the Wyoming House of Representatives.[1]

In an interview with the Wyoming Star-Tribune, Skates stated, "Wyoming's greatest issue is economic infrastructure for long-term sustainability. That means more jobs -- and an improved economy. I will be a part of the government to create and support a climate for the private sector to plan and thrive and I will give adequate representation for ultimate fair funding."[2]

Skates ran in the 2012 election for the Wyoming House of Representatives District 28. He defeated Carl Leyba in the Democratic primary on August 21 and was defeated by Nathan Winters (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[3]
