Constance Reuschlein
Constance Reuschlein was a candidate for District 1 representative on the El Paso Community College Board of Trustees in Texas. She was defeated in the general election on May 6, 2017.
Biography
Reuschlein earned a B.S. in computer information systems from Edgewood College. Her professional experience includes work as the owner of the web development and computer consulting company Locomachine Technologies and the alternative healing arts company The Lightbody Tailor and as a part owner of the nursing home Maplewood Village.[1]

Incumbent John Uxer Jr. and Denise Razo defeated Constance Reuschlein in the general election for the District 1 seat on the El Paso Community College Board of Trustees.[2]

Campaign themes
2017
Reuschlein expressed concerns about a potential bond to supplement the cost of planned additions to El Paso Community College campuses. She told the El Paso Times, "There is a need for expansion, but within the budget they have. We certainly want to be careful with the spending of taxpayer money. The community is very concerned about any extra load of taxes on them."[3]
