“ The following are just a few examples of working towards these goals as a candidate:
  • Education: Working towards equalizing the gap between rural and urban per pupil spending through out the state of Minnesota – ensuring all students regardless of their location or family income succeed academically and graduate from high school, regardless of race, faith, or location.
  • Income: This year contracts have passed to increase the income of nursing home workers, trades workers, and homecare workers. I will continue the fight for $15 and the 5% increase to ensure fair living wages for all workers despite corporate greed.
  • Health: Every Minnesotan deserves access to quality, affordable health care without the fear of debilitating bills or crippling debt in their time of need. Prescription drug coverage that helps sustain life should be accessible to all to help ensure healthier communities and strengthen laborers.[2]
