Dameione S. Cameron was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 7 of the Wyoming State Senate.[1]

Campaign themes

2014

Cameron's website highlighted the following campaign themes:

Education

Our local schools and valuable educators should have the ability to employ technology and teach essential critical-thinking skills to their students using innovative teaching techniques. When government attempts to censor our classrooms, out educators lose the ability to effectively teach, and our students lose the opportunity to learn.[2][3]

Health Care

Wyomingites should not be relegated to substandard health care because they have to choose between their family’s health and their financial survival. Responsible health care decisions belong with the patient, their physician, and their morals. Large insurance and pharmaceutical companies should not get rich on the backs of our health.[2][3]

Natural Resources

Wyoming’s natural resources are for the benefit of its citizens and for future generations. Wyoming has a unique opportunity to be a global leader in responsible extraction and development of its natural resources through progressive technology and stewardship. This opportunity should not be wasted.[2][3]
