The city of Arlington, Texas, held elections for mayor and city council on May 9, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was February 27, 2015. Four of the eight city council seats were up for election. An incumbent ran for re-election in each district.[1]
In District 3, incumbent Robert Rivera defeated Daniel R. Melendez and Marvin Sutton.[2][3]
