ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY

I am running to ensure that my children experience the same quality of life that I enjoyed growing up in Fairfax County. I want to promote a balance of economic prosperity and smart government that minimizes government taxes and regulation and maximizes productivity. I will strive to streamline services and target valuable resources to important priorities, such as transportation and education.

TRANSPORTATION AND EDUCATION
I want to ease congestion in Northern Virginia through intelligent investment of transportation funding. I will work hard to ensure Northern Virginia tax dollars are returned to Fairfax County and road development is a valued component of our transportation solutions.

I will also make education one of my highest priorities. As the father of two children in Fairfax County Public Schools, nothing is more important to me than maintaining the county's focus on quality education. I will ensure we have the resources to attract the best teachers and keep our schools competitive.

LEADERSHIP AND PASSION
I have spent 20 years influencing public policy from the outside, encouraging lawmakers to make decisions that benefit society. I am ready to step up and take responsibility for the policies and programs that affect Virginians. My deep roots in the community have created a passion for Northern Virginia that is unparalleled. I understand how the political system works and I have the ability to form alliances in pursuit of good policy. I am committed to applying my experience, knowledge and drive to serving the 37th District.[2][3]
