David Minge
David Minge (b. 1948) was a judge of the Minnesota Court of Appeals. He was appointed to this position by Governor Ventura in 2002.[1][2][3] He retired on March 31, 2012.[4]
Education
Judge Minge grew up in Worthington, Minnesota and has lived in Montevideo. He graduated from St. Olaf College and the University of Chicago Law School. He was a Congressman for the 2nd District from 1992 to 2000.[1]
Career
Judge Minge has worked for the Minneapolis law firm Faegre and Benson and has taught at the University of Wyoming College of Law. He joined the Montevideo firm Nelson, Oyen, Torvik, Minge and Gilbertson in 1977 and worked there until he was elected a Congressman in 1992.[1]
2010 election
Minge was re-elected to a six-year term after running unopposed.[5]
