Education

Walker earned an accounting degree from the University of Illinois College of Business in 1982. After working as a staff accountant with accounting firm McGladrey & Pullen, she attended the University of Illinois College of Law and graduated with a J.D. in 1987.[1]

Career

Prior to her judicial election in 2008, Walker was a partner at the law firm of Clausen Miller, P.C., where she concentrated on defending professionals sued for malpractice.[1]
