Debra B. Walker
Debra B. Walker (Democratic Party) is a judge of the Illinois 1st District Appellate Court. She assumed office on December 5, 2022. Her current term ends on December 6, 2032.
Walker (Democratic Party) ran for election for judge of the Illinois 1st District Appellate Court. She won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Education
Walker earned an accounting degree from the University of Illinois College of Business in 1982. After working as a staff accountant with accounting firm McGladrey & Pullen, she attended the University of Illinois College of Law and graduated with a J.D. in 1987.[1]
Career
Prior to her judicial election in 2008, Walker was a partner at the law firm of Clausen Miller, P.C., where she concentrated on defending professionals sued for malpractice.[1]
