Four of the seven seats on the Burke County Board of Education were up for election on November 3, 2015. The available seats included one at-large seat and three seats representing geographical regions within the district.
Incumbent R. L. Icard defeated Robert Murray for the at-large seat. In the Central District, incumbent Don Hemstreet ran unopposed and won re-election. Incumbent Randy Burns defeated Tommy Fraley in the Eastern District, and incumbent Edna B. Weller defeated Susan C. Jones for the Western District seat.[1][2]
