Edward Mattox (b. September 9, 1958) was a 2011 Republican candidate for District 7 of the Mississippi State Senate.

Mattox owns Mattox Fed Mill and Nursery. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 1980 with a degree in Agricultural economics.

Mattox ran in the 2011 election for Mississippi Senate District 7.[1] He ran unopposed in the primary on August 2, 2011. Incumbent Hob Bryan ran unopposed in the Democratic primary. Mattox was removed from the ballot prior to the general election on November 8, 2011.[2]

On his campaign website, Mattox highlighted the following issues:
