Williams ran in the 2012 election for Georgia House of Representatives District 93. Williams and Dexter Dawston were defeated by incumbent Dar'shun Kendrick in the Democratic primary on July 31, 2012. Christine Hoffer ran unopposed in the Republican primary. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2][3]
