The city of Arlington, Texas held elections for mayor and city council on May 9, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was February 27, 2015. Four of the eight city council seats were up for election. An incumbent ran for re-election in each district.[1]

In District 8, incumbent Michael Glaspie defeated Gregory Gerami, Chris Dobson and Richard Weber.[2][3]
