Iowa's 5th Congressional District
The 5th Congressional District of Iowa was a congressional district that was eliminated in the 2010 Census redistricting process. During the 2010 redistricting process, Iowa had one seat in the U.S. House taken due to population changes across the country. The 5th Congressional District ceased to exist following the 2012 elections.
The final representative of the 5th Congressional District was Steve King (R).

On November 2, 2010, Steve King won re-election to the United States House of Representatives. He defeated Matthew Campbell (D) and Martin James Monroe (I) in the general election.[1]
