Ira Anders
Ira Anders (b. April 15, 1942) is a former Democratic member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 21 from 2011 to 2019.
Anders was unable to run for re-election in 2018 to the Missouri House of Representatives because of term limits.
Biography
Anders earned his B.S. and M.S. in education from Emporia State University. During his time in the State House, his professional experience included working as an elementary school teacher.

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 25, 2014. Incumbent Ira Anders was unopposed in the Democratic primary and was unopposed in the general election.[6][7]

Anders won re-election in the 2012 election for Missouri House of Representatives, District 21. Anders ran unopposed in the August 7 Democratic primary and defeated Vicki Riley (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[8][9]
