2012 State Supreme Court Results
This lengthy edition covered the results of all of the state Supreme Court races on November 6, 2012.
Supreme Court Special
About one month before the general election, JP staff issued a special Election Brief covering all of the contested state Supreme Court elections in 2012. For each race, we answered the question, "Why is this race important?," including quotes from many of the candidates themselves. You can find this report at: JP Election Brief: The Supreme Court Special.
Election preview
Two months before November's general election, the Brief looked at judicial elections in all 36 states with elections this year. Visit JP Election Brief: Election preview for all thirty-six states for an overview of your state's elections, or to compare them across the nation.
Retention elections
On July 5, the State Court staff compiled information on retention elections in the eleven states holding these elections this year.
You can read that at JP Election Brief: 2012 Retention Elections.
