James Bradley "Brad" Goodchild
James Bradley "Brad" Goodchild was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 79 of the Georgia House of Representatives.
Biography
Goodchild grew up in Dunwoody, Georgia. After graduating from Peachtree High School, he earned his B.S. in chemistry from Emory University. He went on to earn his D.D.S. from the University of Tennessee.[1]
Professionally, Goodchild has worked as a dentist since 1995. He has worked in private practice, with mission clinics, at a children's hospital and with health and charity clinics.[1]

Goodchild submitted the following statement to Ballotpedia:[2]
“ | I will work for smaller government in an ethical, open, and honest fashion. I chose to run for office because of my opponent. I wanted a candidate with more integrity and more dedication to the voters.[3] | ” |

Elections for the Georgia House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014, with runoff elections taking place where necessary on July 22, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 7, 2014. Incumbent Thomas K. "Tom" Taylor defeated James Bradley "Brad" Goodchild in the Republican primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[4][5][6]
