Bartscher received her bachelor of arts in social work and Spanish from the College of Saint Catherine in 1982. She received her J.D. degree from the William Mitchell College of Law in 1986.[2]

Career

Prior to joining the court, Bartscher worked as an associate attorney with the firm Rogosheske, Sieben & Atkins, P.L.C.. She worked in a variety of areas, including criminal defense, personal injury, and family.[2]
