Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am an incumbent for this seat. I began on the ReImagine Plainfield and then decided to run for this office. I have been moderating candidate forums for over the past 15 years and still do monthly government matters meetings for the South Kent Chamber of Commerce. I am a basic conservative and wholeheartedly believe in the individual rights of every citizen and government is there for safety and protection first, Twp. financial management second, preservation of our land and property and the infrastructure as well. I have learned a lot over the past 4 years and wish to continue to be a trustee in Plainfield Twp. You can reach me at 810 730 6679

• Safety and security of Plainfield Twp
• Fiscal responsibility
• Protecting individual rights along with the water protection for drinking and for recreation.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Parks and Recreation, our beautiful water and rivers.

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

I look up to several people, Sam Walton because he was a humble billionaire. The DeVos because they too seem humble and can handle their money. My mother because she raised us alone and was great at managing her money and providing for us as a waitress.

The Constitution

Trust and integrity all else works from this.

What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?

Trustworthy, honesty, conservative

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

Fiscal responsibility, safety and protection of our citizens.

Impact with integrity.

What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?

President Kennedy being shot. I was in elementary school.

Cafeteria at 16, High School Pharmacy. 17 til I graduated.

What is your favorite book? Why?

The book of scriptures, The Bible

I am a descendant of Mark Twain (Clemens was my mother's maiden name).

Gratitude by Brandon Lake

What is something that has been a struggle in your life?

Not more than usual, was a single mom for a time. God has been good to me in all my struggles.
