Harvey ran in the 2012 election for Georgia House of Representatives District 92. Harvey ran against Doreen Carter, Tonya Anderson, Sherri Len Washington, and Doreen Williams in the Democratic primary on July 31, 2012. Tonya Anderson and Doreen Williams will advance to the runoff elections to decide the district seat.[2] The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[1][3]
