Leon Greenslit
Leon Greenslit was an Independence Party candidate in the April 10 special election for the Minnesota State Senate, District 20. The special election was called to fill the vacancy created when Gary Kubly (D) passed away on March 2, 2012 after a battle with Lou Gherig's Disease.[1][2]

Greenslit was defeated by Rep. Lyle Koenen (D) in the April 10 special election. Gregg Kulberg (R) also ran. Greenslit was unopposed in the March 27 primary.
